Sue Terpilowski OBE
With a prolific career spanning over three decades, Sue Terpilowski is the dynamic force behind Image Line Communications, one of the paramount PR, marketing and visual event agencies in maritime, logistics and ports. Her expertise isn't confined to just these sectors. Sue vocal advocates ESG, diversity and equity in maritime and logistics.
In her mission to improve diversity and equity, she serves as the co-chair of WISTA International's Diversity Committee. She's pioneering the Women in Transport Equity Index, a transformative tool for the entire UK transport sector. Her dedication to elevating women in the maritime sector is further exemplified as one of the principal authors of the WESS EU Maritime Women Report and accompanying marketing material looking to increase women in shipping.
Adding to her impressive repertoire, Sue is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) FCILT. She also undertakes the roles of Public Affairs Chair and Vice Chair of the institute's Ports, Maritime, and Waterways Sector Group. Her profound insights and understanding of Environmental, Freeports, Brexit and maritime trends have seen her take the stage as a chair, speaker and facilitator for renowned global conferences and, more recently, on BBC 4's Today programme.
Championing diversity and gender equity is close to Sue's heart. Her contribution as the Press Officer for WISTA International and her leadership as the Immediate Past President of WISTA UK has been instrumental in pushing the boundaries. Sue's active membership in Women in Logistics and Women in Transport groups further solidifies her commitment to raising the standing of the work undertaken in the maritime sector on ESG and DEI through collaboration.
Sue's tireless efforts to improve the lives of micro and small business owners in London was recognised when she was honoured with the OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours 2014.
