Mark is an expert in the container leasing sector who led key roles at the industry leader Triton instrumental to its growth and success before leaving in 2016 to establish the leasing company Sun Intermodal. As Senior Vice President at Triton International from 1999 to 2016, his roles included leading the EMEA & South America region, establishing and leading the Product Management group overseeing a container fleet of over 2 million TEU including 125,000 refrigerated containers, led Procurement acquiring c.US$5 billion of containers, and oversaw the development of the company's Re-Sale team. He has led initiatives with industry associations including the Container Owners Association (COA), the Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL), representing them at international forums including the UN and IMO. He has strong working relationships across the container industry and is a regular conference speaker. He holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Cranfield University.
