The European Green Deal (EGD) is expected to have a profound impact on the entire transport sector, necessitating significant adaptations to meet its challenges. Six key factors have been identified as critical to achieving EGD readiness: Investment in Green Technologies (IG), Policy Alignment and Compliance (PA), Stakeholder Collaboration (SC), Resource Management (RM), Employee Training and Engagement (ET), and Emission Reduction Initiatives (ER). Throughout this study, it was observed that these factors are interconnected, with Resource Management and Employee Training and Engagement emerging as the most pivotal in facilitating compliance with the EGD.
